Bodog and Merge Gaming Next on DOJ’s Hit List?

Bodog and Merge Gaming are apparently very much on the radar of the USA Department of Justice, at least according to inside sources that have been working with the radio hosts of QuadJacks.com.

This mornings stream of Quad Jacks radio openly revealed that the next internet gambling companies that may be going down are Bodog and Merge Gaming.  One of the sites regular hosts, Zekday0, that Bodog [is] going to be seized in 2 weeks, Merge 30-60 days. You heard it here FIRST.

The tweet comes in the wake of Bodog redirecting their .com domain to Bodog.eu and Merge skins like Lock Poker redirecting their .com site to LockPoker.eu both of which occurred just this week!

Earlier in the year there were conflicting financial reports from internet bingo operators. Most reported positive figures while a few reported a decline in sales. Moody’s says finances stable at Riviera after bankruptcy

Now that it’s out of bankruptcy, the owner of the 2,075-room Riviera hotel-casino on the Las Vegas Strip should have no trouble generating enough cash to meet its obligations.

That’s according to Moody’s Investors Service, which today issued ratings on $80 million in debt carried by the post-bankruptcy Riviera Holdings Corp.

“Given rising visitation to Las Vegas, Moody’s expects Riviera can grow EBITDA modestly and we expect debt to EBITDA to decline to approximately 8.25 times and 6.75 times by year-end 2011 and 2012, respectively,” Moody’s said in today’s report. “Riviera

Sean Kingston released from hospital after watercraft accident

Miami, FL, United States (Celebrity News Service) – Sean Kingston is headed towards full recovery following the personal watercraft accident that left him in critical condition. He has finally been released from the hospital.

According to MTV, the 21-year-old singer left Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami on Tuesday, a full three weeks after he was admitted for injuries from his Memorial Day Weekend accident on Miami Beach.

On May 29, the Miami native lost control of his personal watercraft and crashed into the Palm Island Bridge, leaving him with a broken jaw, fractured wrist, and water in his lungs.

Earlier this week, Kingston tweeted a photo of himself in the hospital looking healthy, with a note that was his first message to his fans and well-wishers since the accident.

Famous Online Gambling Sites Banned By FBI

The FBI has long been targeting to ban online poker and gambling sites from tapping the US player base.

The ban imposed by the FBI on the domain names of the famed 3 sites serving the US market like the FullTiltPoker.com, PokerStars.com and AbsolutePoker.com, as being responsible for initiating illegal gambling activity and fraud charges for allowing players to sign and play for real money games in their sites.

It is indeed a bold move by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The FBI has accused 11 people involved in the charge that consists of the payment processors and the owners of the site

  • Isai Scheinberg, Paul Tate from Poker Stars
  • Raymond Bitar, Nelson Burtnick from Full Tilt Poker
  • Scott Tom, Brent Beckley from Absolute Poker
  • Ryan Lang, Ira Rubin, Bradley Franzen, Chad Elie and John Campos who are the payment processors having done the job of enabling fund transfer to the respective gambling sites for betting purposes.

The business properties of the online poker sites including their domain names like www.PokerStars.com, www.FullTiltPoker.com and www.AbsolutePoker.com were seized on Saturday; however, Poker Stars and Full Tilt have redirected their domain names to domain names of their business serving UK.
