Shelton’s label bosses at Warner Bros. thought his Twitter messages were overly candid and sometimes offensive, like his tweet where he re-wrote some Shania Twain lyrics to read, “Any man that tries Touching my behind / He’s gonna be a beaten, bleedin’, heaving kind of guy.”
After the remarks were considered anti-gay, Shelton’s label heads wanted to prevent him from tweeting, something he and the rest of the judges regularly do for “The Voice.”

Omni Casino has been running a host of attractive tournaments recently, but their latest appears to be the best of the bunch. Named Beat the Heat, the tourney will run from July 15th to July 31st and will give away a huge prize pool of $9,999.
The structure of the tournament will be very similar to the Money Storm tournament which ran a few weeks ago. That means that players will be divided into three groups based on the size of their average bet.

Students at MIT and Stanford use high-tech devices to study nerve impulses in the human brain and subatomic particles in the solar system. Now UNLV students will take a similarly scientific approach to something crucial to this tourism-dependent town: hotel room rates.
Starting in August, a graduate-level class in hotel revenue management at the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration will get a crack at software that’s expected to revamp some of the management decisions that define the casino niche.
The software simulates hotel management by using mathematical formulas to forecast demand based on bookings from different types of customers and the scheduling of concerts and conventions to attract business. S
